Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, document control procedures and maintain configuration in accordance with company and industry standards.
  • Manage engineering document lifecycle including creation, review, approval, release, revision, and archival.
  • Enter and update data such as parts, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and product records in the ERP system to support engineering change processes.
  • Review engineering documents for

    accuracy, completeness, and compliance

     with established formatting and presentation standards.
  • Administer Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and Deviations, ensuring all changes are accurately documented, reviewed, and implemented along with completeness of documents.
  • Monitor the

    retrieval, distribution, and control

     of documents to ensure the latest approved versions are available all the time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain) to ensure proper configuration management, change coordination and

    assist with training

     employees on documentation and engineering Change Order.
  • Conduct

    weekly quality reviews

     of the ERP database to confirm new documents follow established naming conventions, version control, and approval workflows.
  • Coordinate and schedule Change Control meetings

    , ensuring timely review and approval of engineering changes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance document control and change management efficiency.
  • Track implementation of ECO-related components through

    ERP systems

    , ensuring accurate configuration.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Any graduate degree with technical background.
  • 57 years of experience in Document control, Project Assistance and Change management.
  • Experience managing ECO/ECR processes along with document management database.
  • Knowledge of ERP platforms/systems.
  • Good understanding of document formatting, revision control, and data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
