The Program Manager : Donor Management and Fund Raising is a senior resource expected to take significant ownership of both fund raising and donor stewardship . Reporting to the Head of Communications and Fund raising, this role needs to be able to expand the donor base with significant focus on domestic fund raising, as we'll as maintain and grow existing donor relationships . The role requires extensive experience in fund raising, an intimate awareness of the Indian donor ecosystem as we'll as excellent communication skills Role and Responsibilities Own end to end a dynamic and we'll researched database of potential indian donors - trusts , corporate houses, HNIs etc These to be obtained via a combination of desk research and industry knowledge and to be maintained and up to date with the help of the Associate : Fund Raising Create and refine with the Head- Communications and Fund raising the narrative for fund raising leveraging insights from Prof Karthiks book and the work CEGIS does. Disseminate this amongst key internal stakeholders and ensure there is resonance of the CEGIS fundraising narrative across the organisation. Lead multiple pitches on fund raising and expand by 25X the potential funders entering the funnel. Own the CRM piece and funnel management of funders with the help of the Associate : Fundraising Manage all documentation needed for existing global funders including reporting as needed for domestic and international donors. Refine by experimentation newer donor groups like HNIs in the key states that CEGIS works in Be the owner of the evolving donor strategy for CEGIS which needs to be continually refined basis learnings Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities At least 5-10 years of experience leading fund raising for an Indian NGO with proven experience of liaising across corporations , trusts and CSR funds Expertise in proposal writing and donor reporting. Excellent oral and written communication skills as we'll as a top class salesperson. Demonstrated expertise in relationship building and management . Graduate degree in any discipline, would give more credence to relevant experience and proven communication skills.
