Location: Coimbatore | Experience: 0 - 2+ years | Type: Full-time | This Role is About Change — Deep, Human Change At Life-Lab, we believe transformation begins with one person choosing to see differently. As a Program Lead, you will work at the heart of this change — shifting mindsets, building motivation, and mobilizing schools to move from rote learning to joyful, experiential education. You won’t just be delivering a program. You’ll be activating a movement — inside teachers, classrooms, and communities. Your Role: Mobilizer, Motivator, Mentor • Inspire teachers and principals to believe in and adopt Activity-Based Learning (ABL) • Use coaching, storytelling, modelling, and presence to shift classroom mindsets and practices • Design and facilitate workshops, co-teaching, and classroom observations with a human lens • Help teachers move from fear to confidence — and from compliance to commitment • Conduct science-based activities that not only teach concepts but ignite joy • Build momentum for change by celebrating small wins and demonstrating visible impact Whole-School Transformation • Anchor 5–8 schools with regular visits, school-level planning, and feedback cycles • Help headmasters and school teams integrate ABL into the school culture • Design and run community engagement events, science fairs, and parent meetings • Be the face of Life-Lab for your schools — consistently, confidently, compassionately Data, Reflection & Iteration • Track teacher behaviour change and student engagement with simple but powerful tools • Use insights from classrooms to refine content, training, and strategy • Provide honest, useful feedback — and model a culture of continuous improvement You Might Be Right for This If... • You care deeply about what happens inside classrooms — and what holds change back • You’ve seen the resistance, the helplessness — and still believe change is possible • You know how to listen without judgment and lead without force • You believe behavioural change requires belief, trust, consistency, and care • You’re as comfortable with messiness as you are with metrics What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in MSW, Science, Engineering, or Education) • 0–2 years of experience in education, facilitation, school programs, or social mobilization • Experience working with teachers, school leaders, or government systems • Strong facilitation, observation, and motivational skills • Fluency in English, Hindi, and ideally a regional language (Marathi, Kannada, or Tamil) • Comfort with technology, science kits, and a willingness to learn (e.g., Arduino) Why Join Life-Lab? • Be part of a movement that puts wonder, inquiry, and integrity back into education • Grow as a leader who can facilitate behaviour change and systemic shifts • Work with a team that values both compassion and responsibility • Shape how education can be felt, not just taught Let’s Talk Send your resume and a note on why this role speaks to you to: hr@life-lab.org Show more Show less
