Job Title: Program Coordinator – Vocational Training Program Location: Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh (Preference will be given to Local Candidate of Dharamshala) Organization: Tong-Len Charitable Trust Reporting To: Program Manager/Director Salary: Rs. 18000/month + Performance Bonus (Up-to Rs 2000/-) Type: Full-time, Contractual About the Organization Tong-Len Charitable Trust is a Dharamshala-based NGO committed to uplifting underprivileged youth through access to education, healthcare, and skill-based vocational training. The organization operates multiple short- and long-term technical courses aimed at employability and self-reliance. Key Responsibilities Program Implementation & Coordination Oversee daily operations of multiple vocational courses (Electrician, Tailoring, Embroidery, Driving, Cookery, Waste Management, etc.). Monitor and support trainers in ensuring effective delivery of theory and practical sessions. Coordinate assessments, certifications, and on-the-job training where applicable. Admissions & Mobilization Lead admission drives for all courses, including planning and conducting awareness sessions in the community. Responsible for managing new admissions across all vocational training courses. Verify applicant eligibility, process applications, and support students during orientation. Maintain admission records and ensure balanced enrolment across all programs. Resource & Infrastructure Management Plan and ensure timely allocation of resources such as training materials, classroom space, and lab tools. Coordinate usage and maintenance of infrastructure (labs, tools, safety gear, etc.) as per program schedules. Ensure readiness of training equipment and time to time Vendor & Partner Coordination Manage vendor relationships for supplies related to course materials, raw materials, maintenance, and equipment servicing. Handle procurement processes as per organizational policies, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Documentation & Reporting Maintain trainee records, attendance logs, and progress reports. Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for internal monitoring and external stakeholders. Support data entry and dashboard updates for ongoing projects. Qualifications and Skills Documentation & Reporting Bachelor’s degree in any stream Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools. Ability to multitask, manage timelines, and work collaboratively with internal and external teams. Willingness to travel within the region for mobilization and coordination.
