Senior UX Researcher
What You'll Do
You will help define the future of Agentic AI for enterprise users.
We're transforming our platform into an AI-first, agent-driven experience, and UX is leading the shift. As a Senior UX Researcher, you'll lead the charge in shaping Teradata's next-generation user experiences. You'll drive strategic research initiatives, mentor junior researchers, and set the vision for how AI-agentic and -augmented tools can transform user interaction with data. You'll partner with Product Management to set the vision for new SaaS offerings, ensuring user needs drive product innovation and strategy. You'll play a key role in guiding teams to build and evolve enterprise SaaS products. Success in this role means being a catalyst for innovation by guiding teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that position Teradata as a leader in enterprise AI. Your work will directly influence product strategy and user outcomes at scale.
Who You'll Work With
You'll be a senior member of a dynamic, customer-centric UX team that is the tip of the spear when it comes to innovating and simplifying agentic and AI experiences that empower our users to understand and leverage their data in new ways. Reporting into Product Experience, you'll collaborate across Product, Design, and Engineering, working with colleagues who are passionate about leading Teradata's transformation. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers, influencing not just user experience but also product strategy and roadmap decisions for our SaaS platform. You'll be part of a global team, including peers in India, the US, and Mexico, all focused on delivering world-class experiences.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
- 5+ years in UX, HCI, applied research, product R&D, with a track record of leading strategic initiatives, or Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Expertise in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods and synthesis, and how to leverage AI tools as a force multiplier for your work
- Deep understanding of SaaS product strategy and execution
- Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English

- Proven ability to mentor and lead teams
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams, especially with Product Managers, to deliver successful AI-powered or SaaS products
- Demonstrated impact on product strategy and innovation
- Advanced facilitation and design thinking skills
- International research leadership and multilingual fluency
- Mastery of research and design tools (e. g. , UserTesting, User Interviews, Dovetail, Qualtrics, Dovetail, Figma, Miro, and Pendo)
