Position Overview: Job Title: Department: Product Location: Gurugram (HQ) Reports To: Business Head Type of Position: Full-time About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager (AM) - Operations with a strong academic background and a passion for operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a B.Tech graduate from an IIT or an A-grade institution, with 1-3 years of experience in operations management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the growth and success of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Production & Assembly Leadership: Supervise and lead the production/assembly team, ensuring adherence to quality and production schedules. Process Management: Ensure efficient production and assembly processes for electronic components, optimizing workflows to meet deadlines and reduce waste. Team Coordination: Train, mentor, and lead team members, ensuring smooth collaboration across shifts and departments. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality standards to ensure the assembly of high-quality electronic products, in line with customer specifications and industry standards. Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, cycle time, and product quality, taking corrective action when necessary. Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any production or assembly issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. Inventory Management: Oversee material handling, ensuring that components are available as required, and managing inventory levels effectively. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce production costs. Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years of experience in leading production or assembly teams, specifically in electronics assembly within an EMS environment. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and quality standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001). Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading teams, with the ability to motivate and drive performance. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot production issues and resolve them quickly. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and management. ERP Systems: Familiarity with production management software and ERP systems. Educational Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
