Production Supervisor

Job Title: Production Supervisor Department: Production / Operations Location: Narol Qualification: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or relevant field) Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production activities on the shop floor. Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule and quality standards. Allocate manpower, machines, and materials efficiently to meet daily plans. Monitor production processes and identify bottlenecks or deviations. Maintain records of daily production, material usage, and downtime. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and 5S standards. Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth operations. Train and guide operators/workers for better productivity and safety compliance. Report production data, issues, and improvement suggestions to higher management. Assist in implementation of lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities. Required Skills: Knowledge of production planning and process control. Strong understanding of machinery, tools, and equipment used in production. Ability to handle and motivate a team of operators/workers. Familiar with ISO standards / quality procedures. Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP/Tally entry for production data). Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Attributes: Hands-on experience in manufacturing / engineering / fabrication industry. Ready to work in shift operations if required. Good analytical and planning abilities. Commitment to safety, quality, and timely delivery.
