Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor at our company located in Faridabad, Haryana, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of medical devices. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing production plans and schedules based on demand forecasts, material availability, and workforce capacity. - Ensuring production targets are met on time and within budget. - Coordinating with procurement teams to ensure adequate quantities of raw materials are available. - Supervising and managing the labor force involved in the production process. - Assigning tasks and monitoring staff performance to maintain productivity and quality standards. - Conducting training programs to enhance worker skills in medical device manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality controls. - Handling employee schedules, attendance, and resolving labor-related issues. - Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, workplace standards, and industry standards including FDA regulations and ISO 13485. - Overseeing inspection and testing of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. - Implementing corrective actions for quality issues and adjusting processes to prevent recurrence. - Ensuring traceability of products throughout the production process. - Monitoring production efficiency, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements. - Regularly assessing production processes for opportunities to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance worker safety. - Conducting safety training and ensuring employees are aware of emergency procedures and safe material handling. - Overseeing handling and storage of raw materials and components to maintain proper storage conditions. - Working with inventory management to maintain stock levels and prevent production delays. - Maintaining accurate records of production activities. - Serving as the primary point of contact for production-related issues and escalating when necessary. - Facilitating team meetings to address concerns, share updates, and plan for production requirements. Qualifications and Skills Required: - Graduation is mandatory. - Minimum 1 year of experience as a production supervisor in the medical device industry. - Familiarity with medical device quality management systems and regulatory requirements. - Strong leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
