Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Supervision

• Supervise manufacturing operations during assigned shifts.
• Ensure smooth workflow and achievement of daily production targets.
• Monitor machine utilization and production output.
  

2. Quality Control

• Ensure adherence to product quality standards.
• Conduct quality inspections and identify defects.
• Implement corrective actions to maintain consistent quality.
  

3. Operational Efficiency

• Reduce downtime and improve productivity.
• Minimize wastage and optimize resource utilization.
• Implement best practices for continuous improvement.
  

4. Team Management

• Allocate work and guide shop-floor manpower.
• Conduct on-the-job training and performance monitoring.
• Promote a disciplined and productive work culture.
  

5. Safety Compliance

• Enforce safety procedures and standard operating practices.
• Conduct safety checks and identify hazards.
• Encourage safety awareness among employees.
  

6. Maintenance Coordination

• Coordinate with maintenance for machine servicing and breakdown resolution.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
• Support quick restoration during equipment downtime.
  

7. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain production and shift records.
• Prepare daily production and performance reports.
• Ensure documentation of quality records and safety logs.
  

8. Problem Solving

• Troubleshoot shop-floor issues promptly.
• Resolve production bottlenecks and quality concerns.
• Implement preventive measures to avoid recurring problems.
  

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Education

• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

  OR

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
  

Experience

• 4- 9 years of experience in manufacturing operations
• Experience in production supervision and manpower handling
  

Skills

• Strong leadership and coordination abilities
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality systems
• Good understanding of shop-floor operations
• Proficiency in MS Office and production reporting tools
• Ability to work under shift environments
