Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Develop and implement production plans and schedules for welding and fabrication processes to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization. 2.Monitor welding and fabrication processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to specifications and standards. 3. Supervise welding and fabrication staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. 4. Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues related to welding procedures and optimize production processes. 5. Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure the availability of welding materials and components needed for production. 6.Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures specific to welding activities to maintain a safe working environment. 7.Identify opportunities for process improvement in welding and fabrication operations and implement measures to enhance productivity and reduce costs. 8. Monitor and analyze welding and fabrication production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. 9. Maintain production records related to welding activities and prepare reports for management review. 10. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that welded products meet quality standards and customer expectations. 11. Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate welding and fabrication activities and resolve issues. 12. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in welding and fabrication. Skills 1. Understanding of manufacturing process and the machines 2. Proven experience in welding fabrication production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 3. Good Communication 4. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 5. Knowledge of welding quality management systems and practices. 6. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures specific to welding activities in a manufacturing setting. 7. Proficiency in using computer software for production planning, data analysis, and reporting.
