Job Title: Plastic Production Manager PET Preform Manufacturing Company: JAI BALAJI PROCON PVT LTD Location: Dankuni,West Bengal, India Job Overview: JAI BALAJI PROCON PVT LTD is looking for an experienced Plastic Production Manager to oversee the production of plastic preforms using Husky-branded injection molding machines. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Husky machines—this is a deal breaker. Additionally, the candidate should have prior experience working in the beverage industry to provide a structured process outline for running our operations efficiently. The role requires strong managerial and leadership skills to train and lead the production team, as well as SAP ERP expertise to manage production schedules, time logs, and set up the entire ERP module for the facility. Key Responsibilities: Operation & Maintenance: Oversee Husky injection molding machines and ensure smooth operations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Auxiliary Machinery Management: Handle chillers, cooling towers, UPS, and other auxiliary equipment required for injection molding. Process Development: Utilize prior experience in the beverage industry to establish a structured production process and system. ERP & Data Management: Implement and manage SAP ERP for production tracking, scheduling, and reporting. Team Leadership & Training: Lead and train the production team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to best practices. Market Connections & Business Expansion: Must have strong industry connections in the PET preform market for both sales and procurement. Bring strategic ideas for business expansion and market penetration. Quality Control & Testing: Must have extensive knowledge of quality control and testing, including preform wall thickness measuring. Must know how to operate lab equipment for quality control and testing and will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the entire lab. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience working with Husky injection molding machines (Non-negotiable). Prior work experience in the beverage industry to provide structured production planning. Strong expertise in SAP ERP for production management and scheduling. In-depth knowledge of chillers, cooling towers, UPS and other auxiliary equipment. Proven leadership and managerial skills to train and manage production teams. Strong network in the PET preform industry for sales and procurement. Ability to strategize and expand business opportunities. Extensive knowledge of quality control, testing procedures, and lab equipment operation. Must be responsible for setting up and maintaining the entire quality control lab. Preference for candidates who live locally Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Plastic Technology / Mechanical Engineering / Production Management. Experience working in large-scale PET preform manufacturing units. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize production efficiency.Role & responsibilities
