Job Description

Role & responsibilities Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for machining operations (Turning, Grinding, and Milling). Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to ensure efficient machining. Perform first-part inspection and make necessary program adjustments. CNC Machine Operations & Troubleshooting: Operate and oversee CNC machines (Turning, Grinding, ) for precision manufacturing. Identify and troubleshoot machining issues related to tool wear, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy. Ensure minimal downtime by addressing machine breakdowns and performing corrective actions. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Implement cycle time reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for machining defects. Work on cost-saving measures through tool life optimization and process modifications. Preferred candidate profile Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field. Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining, programming, and grinding operations in the automobile industry. Experience in CNC Turning, Grinding (Cylindrical/Surface).
