Production Engineer/ Supervisor (Sheet Metal/ Fabrication Industry)

1 In-depth understanding of sheet metal processes, materials, and fabrication techniques. 2 Proficiency in interpreting 2D and 3D drawings for accurate production planning and execution. 3 Familiarity with press shop operations, including setup, tooling, and production processes. 4 Strong knowledge of various fabrication processes, including welding, cutting, and assembly. 5 Understanding of gauges used for measuring material thickness, pressure, and other relevant parameters 6 Experience in the design, use, and maintenance of fixtures for production processes. 7 Ability to set, manage, and achieve production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards. 8 Production Target 9 Control Rejection.

Supervising: 1 Production Execution Implement and oversee daily production activities to meet planned targets Monitor shop floor operations and resolve process issues to maintain delivery schedules 2 Process Optimization & Productivity Management Support implementation of productivity improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Kaizen) Monitor and reduce extra costs, idle time, and process inefficiencies 3 Material & Resource Efficiency Assist in monitoring material consumption and wastage control Ensure efficient utilization of tools and machines for optimal output 4 Quality Assurance & Compliance Conduct in-process inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards Maintain 5S and Visual Management (VM) on the shop floor 5 Equipment & Safety Compliance Ensure timely maintenance and availability of tools and dies Enforce safety protocols, PPE usage, and conduct safety trainings 6 People & Team Coordination Coordinate with production supervisors and operators for smooth workflow Identify training needs and participate in skill development programs 7 Continuous Improvement & Cost Reduction Identify and implement cost-saving measures in production Maintain records as required by statutory and quality compliance (ISO, IMS)
