ROLE SUMMARY : We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Line Engineer to oversee the efficient operation of our production floor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production line workers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and optimising workflow processes to meet production targets. This role is pivotal in maintaining a smooth production process and fostering a positive working environment. LOCATION: Ahmedabad, Gujarat. RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Management : Manage daily production activities to meet targets and minimise downtime. Team Supervision : Lead and train production staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Quality Assurance : Monitor product quality and address defects or process inefficiencies. Process Optimisation : Analyse workflows, recommend improvements, and implement efficiency measures. Safety Compliance : Enforce health and safety regulations, conducting audits and addressing hazards promptly. Reporting : Maintain production records and communicate progress or challenges to the Production Manager. QUALIFICATION: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment (preferred). Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems for tracking production data. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies (preferred). Knowledge of health and safety standards in a manufacturing setup. DURATION: Full time. COMPENSATION The initial 2-3 months will be considered as a probation period. After the successful completion of the probation period, salary is negotiable based on skills.
