The Opportunity

Deloitte Studios create digital experiences rooted in research and design. The Business Experience Designer (BXD) is a product management role that drives these experiences built utilizing best-in-breed web and mobile applications to deliver outcomes in context of the clients business model and industry. The BXDs work at the intersection of design, engineering, and business to deliver experience-first digital solutions.

Our Commercial Excellence & Experience team focuses on designing and implementing sales and service experiences, capabilities, and architectures to bring customer strategies to life. Professionals will serve our clients through the following types of work:

  • Sales Excellence & Service Excellence | delivers sales and service strategies and plans, operating model definition, incentive design and implementation, and operations support for digitally-enabled sales, channel, and customer service capabilities
  • Digital Experience | creates engaging omni-channel digital experiences across web, mobile, AR/VR, voice, gesture, IoT, and video
  • Flexible Consumption | the commercial strategy, operating model definition, and capability delivery of subscription/flexible consumption business models
  • Digital Foundry | a flexible, end-to-end delivery model emphasizing innovation and disruption
  • DigitalMix | an integrated set of platforms to enable business re-platforming

What do we absolutely need?

  • Curious and hyper-aware of what’s happening with internet trends, best-in-class products, and all things design.
  • Strong work ethic & obsessive eye for detail.
  • Strong dislike for ambiguity.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
  • Understand the design, engineering and business processes and be the owner for translating needs between teams— creative, visual design, engineering, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to drive consensus among various stakeholders and articulate trade-offs used in making product related choices & decisions.
  • Proactive and driven, should be able to manage multiple tasks and the chaos, own deliverables end to end, prioritize workload efficiently.
  • Contribute, share ideas, be passionate, and inspire your colleagues!
  • Hands on experience in an agile project right from discovery to delivery stage.
  • Co-own and run all agile ceremonies, and creating artefacts (like user stories, acceptance criterions, release plans)
  • Transform requirements into user stories, that have a clear business value and acceptance criterions
  • Own the product backlog grooming, planning and vision refinement sessions with business /technology teams
  • 3+ years of experience in business consulting or product management
  • Not looking for Business analyst or product owners- these roles focus on solving business problems only.
  • The focus is on Product Management or product strategy which involves understanding the market and ensuring right problem is being solved.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile :
  • Should be able to strategize effectively to address the right problem.
  • Who can take the product ownership, including driving the solutions to completion.
  • Should have a big-picture mindset with focus on product strategy and management.
  • Not looking for Business analyst or product owners- these roles focus on solving business problems only.
  • The focus is on Product Management or product strategy which involves understanding the market and ensuring right problem is being solved.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile :
  • Should be able to strategize effectively to address the right problem.
  • Who can take the product ownership, including driving the solutions to completion.
  • Should have a big-picture mindset with focus on product strategy and management.

Preferred:

  •  Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, both primary and secondary, to gain deep insight into end-user needs.
  •  Experience in Market Research and ability to create Go-to-market strategies
  •  Experience in conducting end user/customer interviews
  •  Competence in business negotiation
  •  Strong tech background, ability to work with the engineering teams and consult on Next Gen technologies like ML / AI
