Job Description

Location: Jaipur The Product Sales Manager is responsible for managing the relationship with key external Technology partners / Vendors. This experienced role performs a wide variety of tasks to support the partnerships such as comprehensive knowledge of the partnership programs and relationships, ensuring maximum usage of appropriate partner benefits, reviewing, and completing compliance or contractual requirements, and sharing information with others in the organization to increase awareness, adoption, and revenue. This position requires dedication to the overall company growth strategies to move the company forward in the market. As Product Sales Manager, you will also take ownership of establishing a roadmap for the next generation of products that can leverage the latest industry trends like Cloud, IOT etc. Product Sales Managers will be responsible for overall coordination and management of products from definition, development, release to production and introduction into the marketplace. The role requires a passion for building outstanding products that customers love to use, appreciation for working with great engineers, willingness to do what it takes to help grow the business, wisdom to make tough trade-offs and keep up with a high pace growth environment. Roles & Responsibilities: · Define and own the strategy, roadmap for products leveraging and complementing strengths where relevant. · Work closely with OEM defining GTM and to achieve joint goals. · Ensure that sales team create opportunities, record them in appropriate tools and track them through to closure. · Own target numbers for internal teams, OEM and track progress. · Ensure that all discounts, promotions are taken note of and validated whether the Organization benefits from such offers. · Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information. · Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes. · Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products. · Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results. Organize POCs as needed, identify Day 1 product features etc. · Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, answering questions and requests. · Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing. · Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production. · Maintains product management staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. · Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Arrange for training of essential staff members where appropriate · Demonstrate a positive attitude and flexibility to jump in and roll-up your sleeves when the situation demands · Proactively engage with the customer; actively listen to their challenges and help craft appropriate solutions that are in line · Define use cases, product requirements as well as multi-year product roadmap · Serve as the company's source of knowledge and analysis for information related to market/technology trends, market sizing, competitive analysis, product positioning and pricing. · In-depth understanding of technologies, e.g. Hosting, Domains, Security and other Internet products. · Conduct competition and market analysis to create strategies to meet business goals. · Participate in industry events to evangelize products. · Liaison with internal teams to provide feedback for national/ international specific requirements and create relevant product roadmap. · Engage with partners to understand product requirements, conduct product workshops for partners Significant Achievements · Spearheaded the product initiatives & liaison with a team of experts to successfully demonstrate product capabilities in the largest industry event Qualifications/Requirements: · BS/B.Tech/BE required, in Computer Science or related technical degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. MS/MBA preferred · Demonstrated credibility with customers, partners and cross functional stakeholders · A minimum of 5-years professional experience in product management capacity. Customer facing and market analysis experience highly preferred. Deep expertise in one or more of the following technology areas: · Cloud, Web Hosting market, technologies, Datacentre Infrastructure & Operations: Storage, Back-up, Networking and Server technologies, SaaS products · Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Strong writing skills with the ability to write clearly and quickly, to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Public speaking experience and comfort · Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to translate those skills into a proven track record in delivering successful, award-winning online products · Ability to travel up to 20% of the time · Willingness and flexibility to travel locally for meetings with partners, clients, and industry events as required.
