Job Description

General Purpose: Create the roadmap to launch certain software products or services in the market. Operate as the management focal point for the execution of the roadmap. Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Define the customer problems that need to be solved and define the solution that can be deployed to address the need. Define the product roadmap which should include defining the problems that the product will solve and the release plan and features for the releases. Define product launch plan Work with Technical team that will be building the product and ensure that product build is per the product launch plan. Define how the product will be priced Define marketing plan - Define target market and customers for the product. Define how to segment the market and potential customers. Define marketing collaterals, campaigns, websites etc. that will be needed to support the marketing plan. Basic Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree 10-15 years of total Experience 7+ years of digital product management experience leading programs from inception to launch. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of complex and cross organizational project and program management experience in a business leadership capacity. Experienced in managing digital programs involving web portal development, deployment, enhancements and their integrations with other applications Experience managing product development and marketing of software applications or solutions in any industry. Excellent understanding of how Retail Industry and CPG industry works and the relationship between suppliers and retailers. Excellent project management skills and demonstrated competency in managing simultaneous execution of multiple projects and workstreams within the program Results driven with the ability to combine strongquantitative foundation with business acumen Excellent facilitation, negotiation skills, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to all functional groups; the ability to translate technical requirements and issues into appropriate context Strong business acumen across multiple business functions in Retail (e.g. Sales, Distributions, Supply Chain, etc.) History of ability to maintain flexibility, multi-task, and deliver results in a deadline driven environment
