Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager / Senior Product Manager to lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to execution in the General Insurance sector (Non Motor, Property & casualty, Fire, and Marine). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, experience in creating and managing BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents) , and a proven track record of driving successful product launches in the insurance domain. Key Responsibilities: Define and execute the product roadmap in alignment with business objectives specific to the General Insurance industry . Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims , actuarial, engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless product development and delivery. Gather and analyze user and business requirements to create BRDs and FRDs , ensuring clear communication of business and functional needs. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and regulatory assessments to identify trends and opportunities in the insurance space. Define key product metrics and drive data-driven decision-making. Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer needs and compliance requirements. Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle , including ideation, planning, development, launch, and post-launch optimization. Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and other industry standards in product development. Required Skills: 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3+ years in the General Insurance industry . Strong experience in creating and managing BRDs and FRDs . Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling insurance products. Deep understanding of General Insurance products, underwriting, claims management, and regulatory requirements. Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar. Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
