For more information about our company, please visit our website: Mechatronics Control. Job Overview: We are seeking a Product Specialist - Pneumatics and Process Valves to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge in pneumatic systems and process valves and be able to support customers in terms of product selection, process parameters, and technical inquiries. This role will also involve collaboration with various teams, including sales engineers & principal suppliers, to ensure customer requirements are met effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Review and Quotation Creation: Review RFQ (Request for Quotation) documents, extract key information, and create quote guidelines for the team. Prepare technical deviations based on customer requirements, highlighting the benefits of our product offerings. Include mandatory spares, drawings, in the offer where applicable. Product Knowledge and Technical Support: Provide detailed technical support to customers in terms of product knowledge. Assist the sales team with technical support on Pneumatics and Process valves. Clarify technical issues and part numbers with Original Equipment (OE) if required, including revalidation of buyout quotes. Sizing, Selection, and Product Proposal: Responsible for sizing and selecting appropriate pneumatic and valve products based on customer requirements. Interpret customer requirements and prepare and submit product proposals through the sales team. Cost Management and Data Maintenance: Maintain cost data as per company systems and policies, ensuring the pricing structure is accurate and up to date. Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of quotations while considering cost-effectiveness and customer specifications. Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with customers over the phone, via email and direct visit to convert assigned quotations into purchase orders. Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and drive future business. Training and Documentation: Provide internal training and support to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge. Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including product specifications, customer communications, and quotations. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with pneumatic systems and process valves. Experience in a product specialist, application engineer, or sales engineering role is preferred. Skills: Strong technical knowledge of pneumatics, control valves, and associated components. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Certifications: Pneumatic or valve-specific certifications are advantageous. Customer-Focused: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and foster long-term customer satisfaction.
