Job Description

As a Product Owner with over 12-15 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in driving the vision, roadmap, and successful execution of Enrollment and Billing platforms across various lines of business. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with Product Managers, UX designers, technical teams, and stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements and market trends into scalable healthcare solutions. Your strategic role will ensure that the product aligns with business objectives, regulatory standards, and user expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Product Vision & Strategy: - Develop a product vision that aligns with the diverse healthcare needs and business viability. - Create and maintain a comprehensive roadmap covering aspects such as Enrollment (group setup, onboarding, disenrollment) and Billing (claims processing, financial reconciliation). - Product Discovery & Market Research: - Lead primary and secondary research, competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for automation. - Collaborate on discovery sprints and feasibility prototyping. - Backlog & Agile Delivery: - Prioritize epics, features, and user stories to ensure the backlog covers essential areas. - Manage sprint ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile principles. - Stakeholder Engagement: - Serve as the primary point of contact for health plans, vendors, delivery teams, and CMS. - Present product KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Regulatory & QA Compliance: - Stay updated on evolving regulatory standards and translate them into actionable backlog items. - Collaborate with QA to design compliant test scenarios. - UX and Technology Integration: - Work closely with design teams to define member/provider experience and API specifications for integrations. Mandatory Skills: - 7+ years of experience in Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst roles in US healthcare. - In-depth knowledge of EDI standards, CMS reporting, and HIPAA compliance. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies, backlog tools, and CI/CD principles. - Proficiency in defining user stories, product metrics, and UX flows. Good to Have Skills: - Exposure to exponential technologies and healthcare applications. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and automated test pipelines. - Experience in premium billing for Commercial, MA, and Medicaid products. Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. - Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate cross-functional teams. - Curiosity and adaptability to changing healthcare regulations and technologies. Experience Range: - 7+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Senior BA roles, focusing on US healthcare systems.
