Why This Role Matters

As India’s leading checkout and payments enabler, GoKwik is on a mission to democratize affordability for millions of consumers while helping merchants unlock sustainable growth. With our pioneering EMI on UPI product, we’re reshaping how shoppers pay and how brands scale. As Product Manager – Risk (BNPL / EMI on UPI), you’ll own the end-to-end risk-tech charter for GoKwik’s BNPL business. This role isn’t about maintaining compliance checklists—it’s about building trust at scale. You’ll design systems that decide who gets credit, protect GoKwik’s exposure, and enable merchants to grow fearlessly while meeting RBI’s evolving digital lending standards.

What You’ll Own

Strategy & Roadmap -Define the vision for GoKwik’s risk technology stack across credit decisioning, fraud control, and collections. Translate risk principles into scalable product features and frameworks.
Product Development – Build and scale risk products such as real-time underwriting, repayment nudges, fraud detection models, credit scoring integrations, and automated risk dashboards.
Portfolio Intelligence – Monitor approval rates, delinquency, fraud incidence, and repayment trends. Identify early warning signals across consumer segments, merchants, and geographies.
Compliance & Governance – Ensure full alignment with RBI’s digital lending guidelines, UPI regulations, and NBFC partner norms. Draft SOPs for KYC, collections, and customer communication to maintain audit readiness.
Growth Enablement – Collaborate with Sales to design risk-based pricing and eligibility frameworks. Enable Collections and Merchant Success teams with tools and insights to balance growth and quality.
Data & Analytics – Leverage analytics, dashboards, and data-driven experiments to continuously improve credit policies, approval rates, and repayment behavior.

Who You Are

4–7 years of experience in product management, credit risk, or lending analytics within fintech, BNPL, credit cards, or payments.
Deep understanding of NBFC partnerships, FLDG structures, and India’s digital lending ecosystem.
Strong analytical skills with comfort in SQL, Excel, and risk performance dashboards.
Cross-functional operator who can partner effectively with Sales, Compliance, Engineering, Data, and NBFC teams.
Builder mindset with strong business acumen and the ability to make trade-offs between growth, risk, and compliance.
Excellent communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and convert credit logic into customer-centric flows.
