Job Description

Profile Overview: Product Head will be responsible for defining, developing, and managing the product strategy for our key financial products, including machine loans, working capital, Industrial LAP and solar rooftop funding. Will lead a cross-functional team, work closely with business analytics and customer retention units, and ensure the successful execution of new and existing product initiatives. This role requires a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of financial products, and the ability to deliver customer-centric solutions that align with business objectives. Role & responsibilities Product Strategy & Development: Define the product roadmap and strategy for machine loans, working capital, business loans, and solar rooftop funding. Continuously evaluate market trends and customer needs to shape and refine product offerings. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, risk, compliance, and business development teams to ensure seamless product launch and execution. Business Analytics: Leverage business analytics to monitor product performance, identify key trends, and create actionable insights to optimize the products. Ensure the use of data-driven approaches to shape product decisions and strategies. Customer Retention & Growth: Implement strategies for customer engagement and retention. Build and optimize customer lifecycle strategies to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business. Risk Management & Compliance: Collaborate with the risk and compliance teams to ensure all products meet regulatory standards and effectively manage risk. Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including product enhancements and iterations based on customer feedback and market conditions. Operational Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance to achieve business objectives. Ensure products are aligned with profitability targets and operational efficiency. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing product team. Foster a collaborative environment and drive innovation within the team. Preferred candidate profile Education: Masters degree in Business, Finance or a related field. An MBA is preferred. Experience: Minimum 10 -12 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in the NBFC or financial services industry. Hands-on experience with machine loans, Industrial LAP and solar rooftop funding is a must. Analytical Skills: Strong background in business analytics, data-driven decision-making, and using analytical tools to optimize product performance. Customer-Centric Mindset: Proven track record of improving customer retention and satisfaction through innovative product features, effective communication, and customer-centric strategies. Leadership: Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams, with a proven ability to drive collaboration and results. Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the financial products and market dynamics related to machine loans, Industrial LAP and solar rooftop funding. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
