About the Role

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Outdoor Furniture Product Designer to design innovative, functional, and durable outdoor furniture and landscape products. The ideal candidate should have strong product design skills, experience with outdoor materials, and the ability to convert ideas into manufacturing-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design outdoor furniture products such as benches, pergolas, gazebos, swings, planters, play equipment, and outdoor fitness structures.
• Develop 3D models, conceptual sketches, and detailed product designs.
• Create manufacturing drawings, including dimensions, specifications, and assembly details.
• Work closely with production, engineering, procurement, and sales teams to ensure design feasibility and cost efficiency.
• Conduct research on materials, trends, ergonomics, and durability for outdoor environments.
• Prepare mood boards, design presentations, and prototypes for new product concepts.
• Modify existing product designs based on client feedback, custom site requirements, or improvement needs.
• Ensure design quality, brand consistency, and adherence to industry standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• Good knowledge of materials used in outdoor furniture: MS, SS, aluminum, wood, WPC, HDPE, FRP, ropes, textiles, etc.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes: metal fabrication, welding, carpentry, CNC cutting, FRP molding, powder coating, upholstery, etc.
• Excellent visualization and design detailing skills.
• Strong creativity with the ability to blend aesthetics, ergonomics, and functionality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
