Job Description

Leads our cataloging effort for assigned product pillars. Integrate new data sets and initiatives to encourage frictionless look-up and sale of company products. Collaborates with product development teams, New product team and project teams to refine, adapt, and apply data models. Works with business, functional leads to define and implement the new processes and systems impacted by Content analytics efforts. Monitors and maintains all catalog content aspects of various product items developed with in the organization.

  • Support and execute the organizations applications research strategy, with an immediate emphasis on partnering with the Product Management team to deliver detailed data (including OE research, interchange, carry-up, etc.) that informs new product development and remains easily searchable within customer systems.
  • Maintain deep expertise in industry data standards such as ACES and PIES, ensuring all catalog data adheres to these requirements for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to gather necessary product attributes and fitment data for catalog creation.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and implement scalable solutions that centralize, streamline, and elevate product data systems for both internal and external use.
  • Leads Cross Functional Teams to Develop, maintain, and publish our catalog of product information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of ACES and PIES data.
  • Define and track team performance metrics to optimize resource allocation, monitor productivity, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform regular audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity and consistency across the catalog.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product line and specifications to accurately represent our offerings in the catalog.
  • Provide strong leadership and developmental support to team members, ensuring they have clear career paths and the tools needed to achieve both personal and organizational goals.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze catalog performance metrics, such as coverage, completeness, and accuracy, and provide recommendations for enhancements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to leverage technology and automation to streamline catalog management processes.
  • Train and educate internal teams on catalog utilization and best practices to ensure optimal utilization of the catalog.
  • Ensures proper maintenance of item number attributes and specifications in the catalog system.
  • Ensures there are no gaps or inconsistencies in item attributes in the catalog system.
  • Review, validate, and load attribute files to the catalog system and respond to discrepancies.
  • Review competitors websites for comparison and analysis
  • Project Management and Project Tracking and creating dashboard for management

Minimum Experience Required:

  • Engineering or relevant degree with Catalog experience
  • Min 5 Years

    Prior Related Work Experience in at Least One of the Following: Automotive Aftermarket / OE Product Engineering, Product Development, Continuous Improvement (Lean Manufacturing)
  • Prior experience working with automotive aftermarket companies

  • Prior Experience Within a Fast-Paced, Self-Starting Environment

Universal Expectations/ Knowledge/Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities: able to dig into complex data sets to help inform decisions.
  • Expert Microsoft Excel experience required, comfortable manipulating large data sets and conceptualizing database architecture
  • Min 3 years of experience in ACES and PIES catalog management within the automotive aftermarket industry.
  • Proficiency in catalog management software and tools, with a strong understanding of ACES and PIES data standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in catalog data.
  • Experience with eCommerce or digital product management
  • Previous experience in automotive or industrial data is a plus
  • Developed Communication Skills Oral, Written, and Overall Presentation
  • Experience with Aftermarket / OE Engineering Processes (ACES/ PIES)
  • High Level Attention to Detail and Understanding of the quality process
