Product Control Credit - Analyst

As a Barclays Product Control Credit - Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the books and records, including P&L and Balance Sheet substantiation. Your responsibilities will involve monitoring trading activity for compliance with policies, providing technical and operational analysis to management, and collaborating with various teams such as Front Office business, Financial Control, Technical Accounting Group, and more. Key Responsibilities: - Reconciliation of daily P&L figures for trading desks, investigating and resolving discrepancies - Supporting the identification, assessment, and mitigation of trading risks - Maintaining and analyzing the bank's trading data, providing insights to traders and senior colleagues - Preparing and submitting regulatory reports, supporting external audits - Communicating complex financial information effectively to stakeholders - Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure coordinated trading activities Qualifications Required: - Experienced with MS Office toolkit - Qualified accountant with strong control awareness - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Financial engineering background would be advantageous - Article ship/Industrial trainee experience in mid to large-sized firms - Audit exposure in large financial institutions/banks preferred As part of your role, you are expected to demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge and experience, lead and supervise a team, and drive continuous improvement.
