Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to define procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and supplier relationships. Program Oversight: Manage a portfolio of procurement programs, ensuring timely and successful execution. Monitor and evaluate program performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a stable and efficient supply chain. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements during contract negotiation and execution. Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with procurement activities. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization's interests. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive improvements in procurement operations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to align procurement activities with overall business strategies. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations. Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for procurement programs. Monitor and report on budgetary performance, making adjustments as necessary. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and stock availability at warehouses through the WMS (Warehouse Management System). Generate inventory reports to assess stock status. Initiate stock replenishment when inventory levels fall below predetermined thresholds. Manage and Coordinate with relevant teams to manage product returns or damaged goods. Reporting: Analyze order and inventory data in google sheets and drive initiatives based on the insights gained. Download reports from WMS (Warehouse Management Software) and update stakeholders with relevant data from the reports. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize inventory and order processes, wherever applicable.
