Job Summery

The Procurement Specialist supports supplier onboarding, vendor management, and related procurement activities. Builds relationships with business stakeholders, assists in navigating procurement processes, and contributes to process improvements. Participates in quality initiatives, maintains compliance with policies and systems, and supports day-to-day procurement operations


Responsibilities

  • Assist with supplier onboarding and ongoing vendor management activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with business stakeholders, helping them navigate procurement processes and procedures.
  • Actively participate in quality improvement activities to identify and implement enhancements to procurement and vendor administration processes, policies, and systems.
  • Use appropriate systems of record to monitor, track, and maintain overall program, process, and systems compliance.
  • Support additional duties and projects as assigned by management.


Skills

  • Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management concepts. • Proficiency with procurement software and spreadsheet applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities; capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English; ability to document processes and communicate effectively


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business-related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement lifecycle management activities.
  • Experience in procurement or buyer roles with exposure to Oracle FCF is a plus. • Experience obtaining bids and managing supplier relationships.
  • Exposure to managing or working with BPO teams for procurement is a plus. Experience working with global teams and international stakeholders; leadership experience with small teams is beneficial. • Knowledge of procurement software and spreadsheet tools.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English; excellent interpersonal skills.
