Description
As a Procurement Sourcing Manager at Cerence, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing the sourcing strategy for assigned categories, such as digital technology services and goods, corporate services, and occasional ODM goods. Your responsibilities will include negotiating supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with functional stakeholders, providing thought leadership, and driving early engagement to identify optimizations and lower total cost of ownership. You will also be responsible for processing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, change orders, and supplier records in the ERP system. Your ultimate goal will be to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and execute Cerence's sourcing strategy for assigned categories - Negotiate supplier contracts and ensure compliance with functional stakeholders - Provide thought leadership and drive early engagement with suppliers and internal stakeholders - Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, change orders, and supplier records in the ERP - Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or related field AND 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain - Ability to prioritize a high volume of requests while managing high internal customer satisfaction **About Cerence:** Cerence is the world's leading provider of automotive assistants, creating intelligent, flexible, and intuitive in-car experiences for the world's leading automakers.
