Procurement Officer

As an independent global provider of high-quality MRO services, HAECO Group is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join their team at Hong Kong International Airport. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing procurement requests and projects for CAPEX/production/technical supplies. Your role will involve supporting procurement-related requests and projects for HX-HKG and other group companies in Hong Kong. **Role Overview:** - Act as a project manager/subject expert for assigned categories and projects - Conduct cost-saving studies and make recommendations on contract development - Assist the procurement manager in managing procurement activities - Act as the key buyer and subject matter expert for responsible categories - Monitor the performance of agreements and relationships with vendors - Handle daily procurement duties, execute projects, and lead tender exercises in a transparent and professional manner - Provide input and execute mid-term to long-term procurement strategies - Collaborate with teams and influence relevant stakeholders effectively - Lead projects at local and regional levels to facilitate understanding of supply base and market trends - Lead taskforces/working teams for procurement-related studies and process improvement **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead projects and facilitate the team with high-quality work and implementation of good procurement practices - Resolve operational problems and enhance cross-team communication - Carry out strategic analysis on data for the development of cost-saving opportunities and risk management - Actively engage in staff initiatives and process improvement projects **Qualifications Required:** - Recognized degree in any discipline, business/management-related qualifications are an advantage - Professional qualification in procurement & supply is preferred - Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience - Product and market knowledge in related categories of purchases is an advantage - Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written Join HAECO and build your career with a company that values your expertise and commitment to excellence.
