Job Summary / Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong background in hospitality or pre-opening hotel projects to lead all purchase and sourcing activities for our serviced apartment developments across India.

This role involves end-to-end procurement management — from vendor identification, price negotiation, and quality validation to purchase order execution and inventory tracking — for both:

  1. Long-Stay Projects – Individual apartments across metro cities.
  2. Short-Stay / Hotel-Type Projects – Large multi-unit serviced apartment complexes operated by the company.

The Procurement Manager will coordinate closely with the Setup, Design, and Operations teams to ensure timely availability of all FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) and OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment) materials. The ideal candidate should bring hospitality procurement experience, vendor development expertise, and a strong cost-optimization mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end procurement operations for ongoing and upcoming projects across multiple cities.

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers for furniture, interiors, electricals, appliances, soft furnishings, and consumables.
  • Oversee procurement for both small-scale individual apartments and large-scale hotel-style properties.
  • Collaborate with Setup Managers and Project/Operations teams to plan material requirements and timelines.
  • Prepare and maintain purchase orders, quotations, and vendor contracts.
  • Conduct price negotiations ensuring best cost-to-quality ratio and timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain vendor databases, rate cards, and cost comparison sheets.
  • Implement inventory management and tracking systems for ongoing projects.
  • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, quality standards, and audit requirements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, vendor consolidation, and alternate materials.
  • Conduct vendor visits and inspections periodically for quality assurance.
  • Submit procurement status and budget utilization reports to management on a regular basis.

Required Skills & Qualifications / Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality procurement or pre-opening projects (hotels, serviced apartments, or interiors).
  • Strong exposure to FF&E and OS&E sourcing, vendor management, and logistics coordination.
  • Deep understanding of interior materials, furniture, appliances, and soft goods used in hospitality setups.
  • Proven negotiation, analytical, and cost-control capabilities.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP or Purchase Management Systems.
  • Willingness to travel to other cities for vendor visits, inspections, and project support.
