Procurement - Indirect Purchase

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the timely procurement of Machines & Engineering spares, consumables & services, QC consumables and equipment, Admin Services and IT services at Zydus Lifesciences in Ambernath, Maharashtra. Your primary task will involve understanding user requirements, preparing bid documents, developing competitive quotations, converting PR to PO, ensuring timely delivery of goods, vendor evaluation, and maintaining records and documentation related to solicitations, contracts, and follow-ups. Key Responsibilities: - Understand user requirements for purchasing of spares, machines, services, consumables, QC chemicals, and consumables - Prepare and develop bid documents to obtain competitive quotations - Prepare techno-commercial comparisons - Convert PR to PO as per techno-commercial recommendation - Ensure timely delivery of goods - Evaluate vendors based on performance - Prepare and maintain records and documentation of all solicitations, communications, contracts, and related follow-ups Qualifications Required: - BE in Mechanical - Designation as Assistant Manager or Senior Executive - 6 to 8 years of experience in indirect purchasing, preferably in the pharma industry Additional Details: No additional details of the company are mentioned in the job description.,
