Urgent opening for one of the leading chemical company. Products : perfume, extracts, essential oils, specialty & commodity chemicals) related to personal care products (soaps, soap noodles, talc, shampoo, Lotion, face wash, hand wash, creams, anti-septic liquids, hand sanitizers) Role & responsibilities : Manage the entire process of procurement including quality, analyzing requirements, scheduling, expediting, vendor managed inventory, vendor management, inventory management, accounts payable, supplier relations and resolutions to issues such as quality rejections, damage/losses, rate differences, security of material flow etc. Identify/Onboard Suppliers (local/Overseas), Supplier audits, Negotiate purchases with approved suppliers to obtain high quality, lowest possible cost based on cost templates or feedstock price trend that meets requirement & specifications with main focus on operations. Review forward coverage of materials based on commodity or feed stock price trends & anticipate its movements in the short to mid term & it's consequence on aligned budget. Review material shortages & material delivery updation with planners and manufacturing sites & ensure continous information flow about material deliveries to relevant stake holders. Ensure smooth material landing at manufacturing sites to avoid any deviations & space congestion.
