Procurement Executive

Job Summary:

The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of quality products at competitive prices. This role supports the organizations operational needs while maintaining compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.
• Process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any supply issues.
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop new sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure budget alignment and cost control.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 4-6  years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• Experience in vendor management and strategic sourcing.
• Familiarity with contract law and procurement regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
