Procurement Assistant

As a Procurement Assistant at Stantec, your role involves providing support to the Procurement Team in the Pune office. Your primary responsibilities include: - Communicating with vendors to obtain required documents and provide status/account updates - Organizing and maintaining electronic files for document control - Assisting the Finance Department with processing invoices and invoice coding - Managing a heavy workload efficiently - Interacting and following up with Stantec employees via phone/email - Working within a ticketing system to process requests - Performing basic administrative duties - Other duties as assigned Your qualifications and skills should include: - Knowledge of IT products is an asset - Familiarity with basic procurement practices is an asset - Basic accounting and financial knowledge is an asset - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in a professional manner - Strong customer service skills, preferably in a corporate environment - Strong organizational skills to plan workload with tight deadlines - Attention to detail and ability to multi-task - Ability to work independently with confidence in a collaborative team atmosphere - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications - High school diploma or equivalent - Certification/diploma in Office Administration or related fields preferred - 3 or more years of work experience required This position is office-based, and Stantec values a collaborative environment where employees can showcase their talents, contribute to impactful work, and make a difference in the world.
