PiLog products include but not limited to MDRM, MDOM, iDQM, iMDRM, iSPIR, iTransform & iVisualize powered by Data Science [AI & ML] Job Summary: As a Procurement and Sourcing Optimization Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing and enhancing clients' procurement and sourcing strategies. You will focus on identifying and implementing best practices in strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and process improvement. Your expertise will help clients reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and streamline procurement activities, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Key Responsibilities: Analyze clients' existing procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Develop and implement optimized procurement strategies, including strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and contract management, tailored to clients specific needs. Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, including vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract management, ensuring the achievement of favorable terms and conditions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, operations, and logistics) to align procurement strategies with broader business objectives and ensure seamless execution. Advise clients on category management and sourcing best practices, focusing on supplier diversification, risk management, and cost reduction. Conduct market research and spend analysis to identify market trends, pricing benchmarks, and sourcing opportunities. Design and implement supplier performance management programs, establishing metrics to track supplier delivery, quality, and cost performance. Develop procurement roadmaps and action plans that include clear milestones and performance metrics for continuous improvement. Provide leadership in driving change management initiatives related to procurement and sourcing optimization, ensuring alignment across all business functions. Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for senior stakeholders, showcasing the value delivered through procurement and sourcing optimization initiatives. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented strategies, making data-driven recommendations for ongoing optimization. Stay updated with industry trends, sourcing technologies, procurement regulations, and market shifts, bringing fresh insights to clients. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or consulting, with a proven track record of leading successful optimization projects. Expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management. Solid understanding of procurement tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba) and data analysis techniques. Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills, with a proven ability to deliver cost savings and improve supplier performance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to drive decisions and improvements. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders. Proven experience in driving change management and process improvements in procurement and sourcing functions. Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, APICS, Six Sigma) is a plus. Ability to travel as required for client engagements.
