Purpose of the role:
Enterprise Process Governance Lead is responsible for proposing and maintaining an effective E2E governance framework including process taxonomy, ownership, roles & responsibilities, process design quality standards, documentation of business policies, rules, risks and controls in process maps. The role will propose and maintain standards for process maturity assessment, develop solutions (tools, templates and methods) for implementation of the standards, deliver training, track compliance and communicate same to Global Process Leads (GPLs). Process Governance Lead reports directly to the Head of Enterprise Process Governance, as part of Process Excellence organization.
Responsibilities:
- Propose and maintain standards of process taxonomy, process ownership including roles and responsibilities: ensure E2E process taxonomy completeness with quality, clear definition, E2E connection; timely communicate adoption visibility.
- Propose and maintain standards of process design, modelling and documentation including Business Policies and Rules, Risks and Controls: ensure timely and adequate creation, review, updates, communication, and adoption visibility.
- Train GPL organization on how to use above when designing, modeling and documenting E2E processes.
- Propose, maintain and communicate the Process Maturity levels that will be followed by all GPL domains to progress through the process excellence journey
- Propose, maintain and communicate the progress of process standardization across the entire Enterprise Landscape, both in terms of hard artefacts and softer measures such as role-modelling
- Process Quality Performance Management: establish overview of KPI’s and measurements to assess and manage the performance of individual processes.
- Complete frequent process maturity assessments to identify areas for improvement to enable the GPL organization to continuously improve to the next maturity level
- Process Board inputs: provide necessary inputs to ensure effective use of process board as resolution body for critical business policy & rules, risks & controls compliance, and accelerate process standardization.
Accountable:
- Develop and champion a robust process governance and control structure and environment.
- Process Management Standards: Design and implement standard playbook incl. tools, methodology, governance to standardize processes.
- Ensure the full E2E process landscape is fully defined in ARIS
- Lead proactive audits of the control environment and implementation quality from a process control point of view.
- Process compliance to governance standards resulting in improved process quality and audit results

- Improvements to the Process Academy, Maersk model
- Improvements to the 3PDF development framework (Product, Process, Platform)
- Building Process Excellence, Operational Excellence community across Maersk
Key Qualifications:
- MBA or MS with 10+ years’ relevant experience in digitally advanced, global setting.
- Proven track record of overseeing design, implementation and management of large complex transformation governance organizations
- Proven experience with E2E process transformation and process management.
- Experience in managing business model transformation through process, data and technology.
- Exceptional understanding of technology and data in both legacy and modern environments.

- Completeness and adoption of Business Policies and Business Rules of OP priorities in BRD
- Completeness and adoption of Risks and Controls of OP priorities in BRD
- Maturity Assessments done for the key domains/Strategic Initiatives
- Improved Maturity within these domains/initiatives thru support and interventions in closing agreed actions
