About the role:
Finance Service Delivery roles plan and manage core financial processes. They are involved in credit control, cash management and the management of banking operations, as well as incoming and outgoing payments and internal allocations.
Role Responsibilities:
. Professionals are individual contributors
. Requires conceptual knowledge in own area of expertise while developing additional skill sets in other disciplines
. Understands key business drivers uses this understanding to accomplish own work and support others in their work
. May train or mentor more junior colleagues within own team
. Solves problems by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents
. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team works within guidelines and policies
. Can explain complex or sensitive information
Train, coach, motivate and develop skills of others within the team
Train newcomers
Support the Leader (taking part in project, reporting and analysis)
Support the Leader within performance management, give input to setting individual monthly targets . Backup person in the absence of Leader
Update desktop procedure descriptions upon process changes
Support project related UATs . Ensure operational stability within the team
Liaising with other teams, coordinating issue resolution and ensuring effective WoW
Co-ordinating, training, motivating the team and being a role model
Schedule and lead regular communications with high profile and strategic Customers and Sales to drive cash collection, flag and eliminate reoccurring issues (cash, dispute, data or technical related)
Proactive cash collection
Manage credit risk (monitor payment behaviour of customers and propose credit limit changes, make suggestions on and approve order release based on SoA)
Manage customer ledger (reasoncode and text up-to-date information on overdue invoices, rejected and unidentified deductions)
Review and approve outgoing payment to customers
Give input to cash forecasting
Review bad debt situation with In-market Commercial Finance, drive decision on provision and write off
Take ownership of incoming queries from Customers
Raise and respond to Internal Query Management ticket on time as appropriate
Update customer contact details and knowledge book regularly
Manage strong relationship with Customers, In-Market Sales, Commercial Finance, Process Excellence Teams . Actively promote the CARM (Sarbanes Oxley) / Control agenda
Reporting to support root cause analysis.
Willingness and ability to build great relationships with Customers

Ability to drive cash results as well as Customer satisfaction.

Experience / skills required:
Essential
. Excellent and proven customer service attitude
. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
. Fluent language skills - as required for the specific market
. Solid English language skills - company language
. STC process knowledge and working experience
. Strong MS Office knowledge
Desirable
. College or university Degree
. Financial knowledge
. Good knowledge of internal and external business partners . Excellent product knowledge
