· Preparation of process related documentation for Concept or FEED studies; including process simulations, Heat & Material balance, Process and Utility Flow Diagrams (PFDs and UFDs), Piping & Instrumentation diagrams (PIDs) and system descriptions (process and utility systems)
· Design calculations and specification of process equipment, such as reactors, gas treatment, separators, compressors, valves and pumps and flares for feedstock preparation, fermentation, distillation and final product purification
· Work on project proposals along with project proposals steam
· CAPEX Cost Engineering and supplier management
· Specialist studies to define feasible and suitable solutions or concepts for various process plants e.g. Due Diligence
· Manage and coordinate design reviews as well as HAZOP and HAZID
· Work closely with the Project Manager as the Technical project lead.
· Coordinate with Engineering Disciplines required.
· Writing of Standard operating procedures and coordinating with Vendor related SOP
· Possibility to be involved in site supervision and assistance in commissioning and start-up.
Familiarity on layouts, Equipment GAD, Line list, and Isometric drawings, P&ID, PFD, BOM MSDS and Design Basis.
· Selection of Materials using Piping Material Specification, Analysis of Pipe class, flange selection, stress analysis of pipe, Material Take Off Updation and pipe routing
· Reviewing the drawing and scope using ISOMETRIC, P&ID and GA provided by the Vendor
· Knowledge on ASME Codes, ASTM, ASHRAE, TEMA, IS codes, Process piping code,OISD and other relevant industry codes for Design
· Understanding on Design calculations and specification of process equipment such as compressors, blowers, Selection of pump (BEP curve), pump head , pressure drop calculation, flare heat radius ,condensation control & thermal insulation and valve sizing
· Understanding on Pressure relief system and design (PRV , PVRV, PSV)
· Knowledge on heat, water and material balance, utility calculation and PFD
· Writing documentation and monitoring compliance
· Working on Improving systems designs to meet client specification and provide well researched input on new technologies and feasibility study.
· Manage and coordinate design reviews as well as HAZOP, Ex Zone classification and HAZID
· Work closely with the Project Manager as the Technical project lead.
· Coordinate with Engineering Disciplines as and when required.
· Writing of Standard operating procedures and coordinating with Vendor related SOP
· Possibility to be involved in site supervision and assistance in commissioning and start-up
· CAPEX Cost Engineering and supplier management
· Integrate sustainability principles into the production process, such as minimizing waste and energy consumption
· Engineering degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
· Understanding the basic need for change in the energy sector of the future
· Minimum 3-4 years of experience within Proposals and Process Engineering, with special focus on Biogas or Oil and gas industry or similar process industries
· A background with energy power plants or the oil & gas industry is highly valued
· Knowledge of applicable design industry codes and standards, such as ASME, DIN, API, NORSOK or relevant O&G company engineering standards
· Excellent English skills
· Hand on experience on Modelling software such as PDMS, E3D, SP3D or any competent for modelling of equipment, Preliminary structures design, pipe supports, isometric view, layout of pipelines and Engineering stress analysis
· Familiarity on software such as Pipe flow expert, Smart® 3D, Auto cad Plant 3D, PDS, CADWorx, Auto PLANT,
