We require someone with extensive knowledge and experience in General Accounting. Responsible for developing and implementing lean shared services projects for customer / partner onboarding and ongoing compliance related to Know Your Customer (KYC), economic sanctions and anti-corruption compliance. Work with the Global Customer Onboarding leader and Compliance leader to resolve process gap areas of focus and build appropriate actions plans for continual improvement.
In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to general accounting which include:
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
Research and follow up on open items based on the reconciliations
Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, reclassifications, adjustments, etc.)
Support intercompany accounting including confirmations and reconciliations
Ability to perform in strong business partnering roles and deliver activities timely and accurately
Identify and escalate process issues to team leads
Bachelor's degree in commerce
Strong R2R Background with relevant experience
Proficiency in MS Excel
Familiarity with ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, MS D365, etc.) is an advantage
Experience in reporting
Ability to take client calls independently
Working experience in SAP
Good communication skills & proactive approach
Ability to manage & prioritize deliverables
Willingness to learn and apply new processes and tools
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
