Process Associate

Job Description :

• We are seeking an experienced professional to join our FX Setts team.
• The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in FX settlements, Calypso and CLS settlement systems.
• This role requires a detailed understanding of E2E settlement processes.
• For Supervisor/Leader role in this team, requires prior experience in approving payments within a financial institution is essential.
• Calypso will be the main system used in this role.
• FX experience is mandatory for all candidates.
• Proven experience in Calypso (essential).
• Strong knowledge and working experience with CLS system.
• Exposure to Murex will be an advantage as the team will migrate from Calypso to Murex later next year.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure, it is a fast-paced environment.
• Standard shift hours: 8:30am-5:30pm / 9:00am-6:00pm SYD time.
• Particularly during Summer months, some team members will be required to do 10:00am-7:00pm SYD time.
• Overall team coverage between 8:30AM-7:00PM SYD time.

2.Int Rate Derivatives & Port Recs:

• The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Financial Markets, deep knowledge of Interest Rate Derivatives and Port Recs.
• Familiarity is a must with financial regulations under APRA, CFTC, EMIR & MAS.
• Role requires hands on experience with MUREX as it is the primary system used in this role.
• Solid understanding of Port Recs and Trade lifecycle processes.
• 2-3 team members will be required to do 8am-5pm SYD time.
• Overall 8am-7pm SYD time coverage is required for this team.

3.Securities:

• This role involves E2E settlement processes understanding, Invs and Queue stock clearance and working with time sensitive cut offs for multiple currencies including NZ & Japanese currency.
• European & Domestic Bond experience is a must
• Deep understanding and knowledge about money markets and deposits.
• This role operates in a fast paced, high-volume environment, where attention to detail, ability to work und er pressure and enthusiasm for learning is essential.
• Engage directly with customers, front office teams and relationship managers to resolve queries and ensure smooth settlement.
• Specific systems required: MUREX is a MUST. Exposure to Austraclear, Euroclear and CTM is also required.
• TLM expertise will also help for some of the roles with Coupons and Fixed Income.
• Ability to manage high-volume, time sensitive operations with strong attention to details.
• Prior experience to calling customers and talking to RMs will help, as they will be required to directly communicate with customers.
• Standard Shift hours 8:30AM – 5:30PM SYD time.
• During summer 2-3 team members will be required to do 10am-7pm SYD time.

4.Nightshift Functions FM&T & CLO:

• Ideal candidates with Night shift experience for functions, covering FX, Securities, Derivatives and.
• These roles will cover for US &UK timings, requiring expertise in high-volume, fast paced environments with a strong customer focus.
• Candidates will have extensive systems knowledge including Calypso, Murex, Nexen (Bony Trading), Euroclear,
• Nightshift Functions FM&T 5 roles: handle FX, Securities & Derivatives operations for US market coverage.
• Hands on experience with FX, Securities & Derivatives operations
• Systems experience is a must: Calypso, Murex, NEXEN (Bony Trading), Euroclear and CTM
• Market time sensitive deadlines
• Communication skills and experience in customer engagement
• Flexibility to work in US & UK hours
• Will be required to work 9am-5pm New York time and 9am-5pm London time.
