Job Description

Role & responsibilities Administers the school to which he/she is assigned in accordance with Wyoming state law, Board policies and regulations, directives of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and good administrative procedure. Serves as the instructional leader of his/her school, articulating the middle school curriculum approach. Maintains an atmosphere within the school that is conducive to good learning and appropriate for the development of sound character. Conducts a program of effective management involving all building personnel, parents, and students. Arranges for the supervision of all curricular and extra-curricular activities which take place at the school or which are sponsored by the school Makes regular visits to classrooms. Coordinates the student observer and/or student teacher programs in his/her building.
