Principle Data Scientist

As a Lead/Senior Data Scientist at HiLabs in Pune, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on transforming the healthcare industry through innovation and collaboration. Your role will involve leveraging AI/ML techniques to identify and interpret complex healthcare problems, developing data pipelines, designing robust applications, and leading a team to strategize and evaluate AI-based solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Apply AI/ML techniques to analyze healthcare problems - Develop full-stack data pipelines involving Big Data - Design and implement application/data pipelines using Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL - Lead a team to strategize and evaluate AI solutions - Improve efficiency and solution quality - Manage ETL pipeline development process - Collaborate with the team on software development and deployment - Ensure high-quality code through design and development best practices - Build and maintain reliable code - Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Masters degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a quantitative discipline from Premium/Tier 1 institutions - 5 to 7 years of experience in developing ETL data pipelines and implementing AI/ML algorithms - Strong experience with Python, Scala, Spark, Apache Solr, MySQL, Airflow, AWS, and relational databases - Good understanding of machine learning concepts and mathematics behind it - Experience in cloud environments like AWS/Azure - Proficiency in Version Control tools and continuous integration/delivery tools - Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills - Ability to lead by example in code development and knowledge sharing If you believe your skills align with this opportunity at HiLabs, we encourage you to apply.
