Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Fusion Payroll Principal Support Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Fusion Payroll support and implementation, offering expert-level technical assistance, resolving complex issues, and providing guidance on best practices. The consultant will work closely with customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and maximize the functionality of Oracle Fusion Payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Provide expert-level support for Oracle Fusion Payroll issues, ensuring timely resolution of complex payroll-related queries.
    • Troubleshoot payroll issues, configuration challenges, and integration concerns.
    • Act as a point of escalation for complex payroll issues within the team and collaborate with Oracle support for resolution.
  • Configuration & Implementation:
    • Lead and manage Oracle Fusion Payroll configurations, upgrades, and implementations for both new and existing clients.
    • Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate configuration and customization based on business requirements.
    • Ensure proper integration between Oracle Fusion Payroll and other Oracle Cloud modules (e.g., HCM, Benefits).
  • Functional Consulting:
    • Analyze and understand client business processes and requirements related to payroll.
    • Provide subject matter expertise to guide clients through best practices and optimal usage of Oracle Fusion Payroll.
    • Develop and document functional specifications, design documentation, and user training materials.
  • Testing & Validation:
    • Lead payroll system testing, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and regression testing.
    • Validate and ensure data accuracy and integrity during system implementations and periodic upgrades.
  • End-User Training & Support:
    • Deliver training sessions to clients and end-users on Oracle Fusion Payroll features and functionality.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to payroll teams, helping them to effectively use the system and resolve day-to-day issues.
  • Process Improvement & Optimization:
    • Continuously evaluate the payroll processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization and help customer on the same.
    • Recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and ensure best practices in payroll processing.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed documentation on system configurations, customizations, and troubleshooting resolutions.
    • Generate and present periodic status reports on payroll system performance, issues, and resolutions to leadership.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business goals.
    • Collaborate with the technical team for system customizations and performance optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Payroll and Oracle Cloud HCM modules.
    • Proven experience in leading payroll support and consulting engagements.
    • Strong background in payroll processing, configurations, and system troubleshooting.
    • Experience with Oracle Cloud integrations with external systems (e.g., HRMS, finance systems, time and attendance systems).
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Payroll modules and configurations.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud applications and tools (e.g., HCM Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud).
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client expectations and deliver exceptional service.
    • Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance (e.g., local, state, and international payroll requirements).
  • Certifications (preferred but not required):
    • Oracle Cloud Payroll certification.
    • Oracle Cloud HCM certification.
