Job Description

As a Principal Software Engineer for Cryptographic Security at Customer Connectivity, a global team at Mastercard, you play a crucial role in designing, building, and supporting service platforms that provide cryptographic, key management, and certificate management functions for global Mastercard application teams. You are recognized as a technical authority and provide comprehensive leadership, guiding critical decisions across the program and collaborating with various stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for the growing platform. **Key Responsibilities:** - Act as a technical team leader and individual contributor, devoting a substantial portion of your time to hands-on work - Lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives collaborating with business and product owners, engineers, and architects - Responsible for the analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions while defining requirements for new applications and customizations - Set priorities, objectives, and drive deliverables within global technology domains and sub-domains - Leverage input of partners and personal experience to make thoughtful decisions on technical direction - Explain technical issues and solution strategies to stakeholders, ensuring timely accomplishment of technical designs and delivery milestones **Qualifications Required:** - Profound experience in Key Management System - Proficiency in Design and Architecture patterns, APIs, event-driven services, batch services, and messaging systems - Strong programming skills in Java, REST API, Microservices, Kafka, Axon, MQ, and Spring - Knowledge of Cloud and DevOps Architecture including Kubernetes, Docker, Chef, Azure, and AWS - Experience with Databases like PostgreSQL and tools such as Eclipse or IntelliJ, Sonar, GIT, Maven, SQL Developer, Jenkins, CI/CD The company values your expertise in designing and developing high-performance, globally scalable platforms.
