Principal Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Strong understanding of RTL design fundamentals using HDLs like VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog - Proficiency in AMD (Xilinx) Ultrascale, Versal FPGAs architecture, and utilization of Vivado for FPGA place and route - Experience in defining constraints for FPGAs and performing Static Timing Analysis - Knowledge of FPGA prototyping or emulation would be advantageous - Demonstrate a passion for learning new technologies, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Effective written and verbal communication skills, quick learner, and a collaborative team player Qualifications Required: - Minimum 14 years of relevant experience - Proficiency in RTL design using VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog - Familiarity with AMD (Xilinx) Ultrascale, Versal FPGAs architecture and Vivado - Experience in constraints definitions and Static Timing Analysis for FPGAs - Knowledge of FPGA prototyping or emulation is a plus - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities At Cadence, you will be part of a diverse team of passionate individuals dedicated to going above and beyond for customers, communities, and each other every day.
