We have opening for the role Principal Officer Location - Mumbai (Thane or Andheri) Role & responsibilities - Ensuring compliance with IRDA guidelines and keeping up to date with all regulatory changes and ensuring implementation of the same in the company's Insurance business. - Liaise with insurance companies and internal stakeholders (tech, business, QA, marketing) for smooth functioning and growth of the insurance business. - Responsible for product, MIS, and operations. - Setup processes for the Insurance business both Offline, Online, Trade as per IRDA norms - Timely reporting of IRDA reports - Represent the company during IRDA Audits, Hearings, etc - Guide and advise the management on the Insurance business - Ensure customer problem resolution and timely payment of claims Preferred candidate profile - 6+ years of experience preferably in Insurance industry preferably in a broker set-up playing the role of Principal Officer - Should have knowledge of applying for the IRDA licenses and procuring the same. - Sound knowledge of insurance products and business. - Valid IRDA training certification is a mandatory requirement. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Preferably from a start-up and used to working in a high-paced environment. - Good PR relationship skills Interested candidates please share the updated resume at Karishma.singh@sbfc.com Thanks & Regards, Team HR
