The Azure Developer Experience team at Microsoft India Development Center (IDC) is looking for a lead product manager to help create and ship exciting services aimed at developers, quality assurance engineers, and DevOps or site reliability engineering professionals. Our team’s mission is to make Azure the cloud of choice for any developer building any app on any platform. We ship popular developer facing services in Azure, such as Azure Load Testing, GitHub CodeSpaces, Azure Cache for Redis, Azure App Service, and Azure Spring Cloud Service. Key areas of our investments include incubation of new services in the fast-growing cloud-native testing space, creation of offerings in conjunction with the Open-Source Software (OSS) community and ISV partners, and, increasing the adoption & retention of Azure App Services across the Linux developer community building apps using languages/frameworks such as Node.js, Python, Java, etc.We are looking for a customer-obsessed product lead to drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution while managing a diverse and fast-growing group of talented product managers. This role requires strong product thinking and leadership, track record of successfully shipping cloud services or developer-focused products to market, and technical depth in cloud-native and open-source technologies.

Qualifications
Required
- 10+ years of experience with at least 6 years as a product manager shipping large-scale enterprise or developer-focused products to external customers
- Demonstrated ability to directly manage a team of product managers to achieve results, create a high-performing healthy team, and grow careers
- Strong program management, project management and cross-group collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields
Preferred
- Ability to innovate at a platform level and drive integrated, end-to-end solutions through the shipping process
- Great cross-divisional relationship building skills to establish long lasting, trusted relationship with partner teams
- Ability to pull together technology and expertise from partners to drive clarity across teams, agree on common goals, and determine the best way to deliver across the Azure ecosystem
- Strong background in at least one public cloud ecosystem (Azure, AWS or GCP).
- Great problem-solving skills and outstanding drive for results. Ability to drive clarity, communicate goals to key stakeholders, and motivate them to execute on time and at a high quality
- Self-starter, who proactively identifies problems, takes risks, proposes solutions, and drives a team to address them
