Job Description

Qualification: Diploma / Graduate from Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. / Commissioning Certification Software Skills: Autocad, MS Office, HAP, Dialux, CG lux, MS projects Experience: 2-15yrs Experience in MEPF and ELV Sytems Design / Projects / Operations / Testing and Commissioning of MEPF and ELV systems Individuals should have in-depth knowledge on design, construction and commissioning of Electrical / HVAC / Fire / Plumbing designing. Understanding of sizing and various applications: Electrical - Distribution systems involving, Substations, Transformers, HV/LV Switchgear Panels, Lightning Arresters, Protection System, PCC, MCC, Diesel Generators etc. including Protection and relay coordination, Short circuit study and voltage drop calculations on cables, bus ducts by conventional method and also by software. Lighting requirement calculations conventional and by special software such as Dialux, etc. using AutoCAD drawings. Earthing calculations for electrical system and for lightning protection. HVAC Understanding of Ducting, Piping, VRV, Chillers, Split Systems, Chilled water, Cooling towers, Radiant Cooling, AHUs FCUs, Pumps, Exhaust Fans, Smoke Ventilation, basement Ventilation, Fresh Air, etc. Understanding of HVAC design softwares for HEAT load / Duct sizing. Fire Fire Hydrants and Sprinklers, Fire Pumps, Fire Piping, Hose reels, Fire detection systems, Fire extinguishers, Gas based systems, Fire Curtains, etc. Plumbing Water Distribution systems, RWH system, Water Purification WTP, STP, Storage Tanks, Hydro- pneumatic Systems, Irrigation Systems, Water fixtures, etc. BMS / PLC IO calculations, SCADA System integration / interfacing with other services such as HVAC, Fire Alarm, Security, CCTV Cameras, Lighting, Electrical, Data, Voice and other communication Systems etc. Knowledge of design standards, Commissioning Processes and standards, and local codes along with all necessary services technicalities of MEP, Green Certifications etc. Should be well versed in preparing and handling MEPF & ELV systems Commissioning-specific documentation i.e. Method Statements, Commissioning scripts, and Commissioning Reports, etc. Should have good written and verbal communication skills. Job Requirement: Work on MEP Design and Commissioning projects. Overview & maintain process integrity and quality of execution of the following responsibilities/scope of works provided by the organization. 1. MEP Design, 2. 3rd Party MEP commissioning 3. LEED Certifications 4. Risk Assessment 5. Due diligence 6. Audits 7. IST Works 8. Operation System Reviews Role Responsibilities Involve It is required to be stationed at the site for a duration of Project tenure and execute the following responsibilities: 1. Understand the design and extend the support necessary in terms of gathering inputs from the client and site team to aid in Design & Commissioning works for the project. 2. Aid in conducting due diligence, risk assessment, operational reviews and preparation of due diligence report. 3. Preparation of project-specific Design & Commissioning documents for various project stages i.e. Due diligence, Design, Tender, Pre-bid, Planning & Execution, and handover. 4. Understand and review design documents, design drawings BOQs, logic of operations, tender drawings and specifications, GFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical Specifications, technical submittals, etc. as prepared by the consultant and contractors to provide inputs for improving design efficiencies, site constraints, etc., as a part of value addition to the clients design requirements. 5. Participating in and driving Design review client meetings and providing value-added design review comments to the project stakeholders. 6. Prepare test scripts for MEP Systems Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and Integrated system test (IST) results. 7. Witnessing & validating MEP Systems Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and Integrated system test (IST) results. 8. Participating in and driving Commissioning-specific Site weekly/Daily meetings, day-to-day Commissioning Activities/responsibilities, QA/QC, Audits, and Integrated System Test (IST), etc. 9. Identify quality issues and maintain issue log tracker. Preparing site quality reports by ensuring closure of quality issues with coordination of project stakeholders. 10. Prepare, maintain and circulate various trackers for keeping the project commissioning on track. 11. Coordination with all the project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of Testing and commissioning responsibilities/deliverables. 12. Develop healthy professional relationships with other project stakeholders such as architects, PMCs, MEP Designers, Cost consultants, and Contractors/Vendor partners. 13. Givetime-to-timeconsultations,ontheexecutionofprojectactivities,technicalaspects,etc. 14. Keeping a close interaction with the project team for improvement opportunities and process improvisations 15. Develop standard processes & documentation that will act as guidelines for all necessary scope of services provided by the organization. 16. Develop a client feedback and management process to enable direct feedback for improvement and to check on the quality of delivery provided to the final customer 17. Prepare T&C reports, audit reports, review O&M documentation, training plan and handing over documentation as a part of project handover. 18. Conduct LEED commissioning and prepare documents for LEED submission.
