Position: Principal Engineer

Educational Qualification:

BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology with a minimum of 8 years prior experience in programing with C++, Embedded Software development, DO 178B/C.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate transition of technology development to product lines.
• Implement middleware software elements - platform & hardware agnostic services & libraries, enabling functional software reuse & faster development.
• Build and deploy DevOps pipelines in Avionics applications development.
• Work with the Avionics teams on the tools & processes they should use to develop & deploy new content.
• Actively participate in a global team environment, working with verification, architecture, applications, and design teams.
• Own and drive development activities, provide technical support, and proactively manage tasks to meet schedule goals.
• Support the cognizant manager in building a highly capable and competent team.
• Guiding and mentoring junior engineers.
• Must be ready for travel to abroad on a need basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (CSE, ECE or equivalent)
• 12+ years of Industry experience in development, integration & verification of Avionics platforms and applications.
• Experience in development and certifying DO178B/C based software applications at high criticality levels.
• Hands on experience in developing middleware and platform software for safety-critical real-time embedded software.
• Experience in C++ development
• Experience in threading and fault logging concepts

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
