Job Description

As a Chemical Engineer with 15 to 20 years of experience, you will be responsible for the process design and development of various Refinery processes such as Gas/Oil/Water Separation Plants, Crude/Vacuum Distillation, Naphtha/Gas Oil Hydrotreating, Naphtha Reforming, Fluid Catalytic Cracking, Alkylation, Delayed Coking, Hydrocracking, Sulfur Recovery, etc. Additionally, you will work on Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), LNG Regassification, Gas Processing and Treating, and Specialty Chemicals projects. Your tasks will include updating Design Procedures/Manuals, identifying training needs, and conducting seminars. You should have a strong understanding of industry processes and be proficient in developing Basic Engineering Packages and Process Simulations using tools like PRO/II, Hysis, or ASPEN Plus. Creating Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), Material Flow Diagrams, and Operating Manuals will be part of your responsibilities. You will also lead Client/Contractor P&ID reviews, actively participate in Hazop/SIL reviews, and more. Your organizational skills will be crucial in fostering team morale and motivation to achieve competitive designs with safety and quality as top priorities. Experience in resources planning and management, along with a proven track record of leadership and achievement, is essential for this role.
